With the introduction of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Oppo Find X9s, Oppo has increased the number of high-end smartphones available in India. The latest gadgets complement the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro models that were unveiled earlier this year.
While the Find X9 Ultra caters to consumers looking for high-end Android technology with a heavy emphasis on camera performance, battery life, and processing power, the Find X9s is positioned as a more reasonably priced flagship-grade smartphone.
The cost of the Oppo Find X9
The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version of the Oppo Find X9s starts at Rs 79,999, while the 512GB model is anticipated to cost Rs 89,999. In India, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is priced at Rs 1,69,999. On May 30, sales of both smartphones will start.
Find X9s provides flagship features at a more affordable cost.
Similar to the normal Find X9 model, the Oppo Find X9s has a square-shaped camera module with flat edges. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chipset and has a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The device has up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage and 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Although wireless charging is not supported, Oppo has fitted the phone with a 7,025mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC charging.
The smartphone has a 32-megapixel front camera and a triple 50-megapixel rear camera with Hasselblad tuning for photography. ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16, powers it.
There will be three color options for the phone: Lavender Sky, Sunset Orange, and Midnight Grey.
The Vivo X300 FE and the Find X9s are competitors on paper, with Vivo emphasizing wireless charging compatibility and a small design and Oppo concentrating on battery capacity and camera hardware.
The company’s flagship product, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, is among the priciest slab-style Android smartphones on the market in India right now.
RAM, CPU, and screen size of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra
The 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display on the smartphone has a 120Hz refresh rate, a flexible screen design, 10-bit color depth, and a maximum brightness of 1,800 nits.
Up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage are combined with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU to power the device. An Adreno 840 GPU, intended for gaming and graphics-intensive applications, is also included in the phone.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra camera
With a quad back camera configuration headed by a 200-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization, the Find X9 Ultra places a strong focus on imaging capabilities.
A 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 200-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-telephoto sensor are all part of the package. To further increase color accuracy, Oppo has added a specialized color reproduction lens.
Up to 10x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom are supported by the smartphone. Features for capturing videos include professional video tools, Hasselblad imaging modes, XPAN mode, Dolby Vision video capture, 8K recording at 30 frames per second, and 4K recording at up to 120 frames per second. Selfies and video calls are captured by a 50-megapixel front camera.
Find X9 Ultra battery and premium connectivity features
A 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports both 50W AirVOOC wireless charging and 100W cable SuperVOOC charging powers the Find X9 Ultra.
Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C, and satellite communication capability are among the connectivity choices. A 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor has also been introduced by Oppo.
Despite having a large battery and an advanced camera, the smartphone is just approximately 235 kg in weight and 8.65 mm thick.
In the market for ultra-premium camera smartphones, the Vivo X300 Ultra and the Find X9 Ultra are expected to compete.
