In 1996, Supreme Allied Services came into inception with Sunny Kutty George’s vision of becoming the leading player in the engineering and construction industry. The Inspiration Behind this Remarkable Initiative
Mr. Sunny Kutty George, Managing Director of Supreme Allied Services, is a passionate engineer with a profound interest in the business world. He started his career as an on-site project engineer, working at a consulting company.
The pharmaceutical and chemical industries both experienced steady growth throughout the 1990s. However, this industry was lacking highly qualified contractors. There was a need for locally specialized, quality- and safety-driven teams who could execute the projects, especially with high standards involved.
Having recognized this potential, Mr. Sunny decided to resign from his position and start this company with his brother Benny George, along with the support and guidance of some well-respected seniors in the industry.
Staying Ahead of the Curve
To rise as the best, one has to be exceptional in every way and above the rest in the respective domain. Supreme Allied Services has achieved the feat in the industry with its end-to-end service portfolio.
Over the last 25+ years, the company has worked with most of the major pharma companies in India. In the last 5 years, the team has executed projects with 42 pharma companies across 63+ locations in India and globally.
Their USP is their deep understanding of complex pharmaceutical regulations. They understand the high standards of quality and safety expected by the clients and adhere to them strictly, which is the main reason for the high customer retention.
The company’s biggest strength is its team, its in-house array of construction and heavy machinery, and its expertise both locally and internationally.
Facing the Initial Challenges
Establishing a company and taking it to success—the journey for Supreme Allied Services had its fair share of ups and downs.
Mr. Sunny and his brother started this company, investing all their savings in it. They went door to door to consultants and project managers for projects. Slowly, the orders started coming in. They started with small mechanical turnkey projects, rented welding and other fabrication equipment, and hired workers on an as-needed basis.
As the business expanded and took on more challenges and embraced the latest technologies, they faced obstacles and setbacks. The process plant industry, especially in the pharma and chemical sectors, involves high-risk, complex parameters. Any delay, cost overruns, or quality and safety issues can have financial and reputational implications for the contractor. But the strength of the team, the unwavering standards of quality and safety, and of course the customer’s trust in them have empowered the company to endure all of this at every level.
The Newest Tech Advancements
Several significant innovations are being launched to advance sustainability, efficiency, and safety—all of which are driving the industry forward.
Building Information Modeling: BIM technology makes it possible to digitally represent the functional and physical properties of pipe systems and the infrastructure that surrounds them. It makes collaborative design, visualization, and coordination of piping projects possible, which enhances accuracy, lowers errors, and improves stakeholder communication.
Corrosion Prevention and Protection: Advanced corrosion prevention and protection methods, including cathodic protection, coatings, and inhibitors, help extend the service life of piping systems and reduce maintenance requirements. These techniques are necessary to maintain the dependability and integrity of the piping infrastructure.
Advanced Structural Materials: Innovations in structural materials, such as high-strength steel, fiber-reinforced polymers (FRPs), and carbon fiber composites, offer superior strength-to-weight ratios, durability, and resistance to corrosion and fatigue. These materials make it possible to build structures that are lighter, more environmentally friendly and have a smaller overall impact.

Words of Wisdom by the Visionary
With his years of experience in the business world, Mr. Sunny Kutty shared his advice for aspiring entrepreneurs: “The success of any project or company depends on a good team.
