Even though the company’s full-year profit after tax more than quadrupled due to increased revenues and operational success, ReNew Energy Global reported a more than 75% fall in net profit for the fourth quarter of FY26.
The business’s net profit for the quarter ended March 2026 decreased to Rs 77.7 crore, down from Rs 313.7 crore reported in Q4FY25, according to a press release released on Monday.
FY26 Profit More Than Doubles, Q4 Income Increases
ReNew Energy’s overall income for Q4FY26 climbed to Rs 3,954.8 crore from Rs 3,439.1 crore in the same quarter of the prior fiscal year, despite the drop in quarterly profit.
Profit after tax (PAT) more than quadrupled to Rs 1,038.5 crore for the entire fiscal year FY26 from Rs 459.1 crore in FY25, mostly due to increased revenues. The company’s overall revenue increased from Rs 10,907 crore in FY25 to Rs 15,063.5 crore in FY26.
Power sales revenue for Q4FY26 was Rs 1,835.8 crore, slightly less than the Rs 1,841.4 crore for Q4FY25. Additionally, ReNew Energy stated that it hopes to finish building 1.6 GW to 2.4 GW of renewable energy capacity by the fiscal year that ends on March 31, 2027.
As India speeds up clean energy deployment and energy transition initiatives, the company, which offers decarbonization solutions, keeps growing its renewable energy portfolio.
