He remarked, “With the company being nearer to its customers, service is more about providing them peace of mind.” He stated that charging is a crucial element of the ecosystem being developed in India and mentioned that the company has already set up five supercharger stations at strategically chosen locations across India.

He stated, “Our aim is to construct the charging system based on our customers’ lifestyles.”
With India having a population comparable to that of China, where Tesla operates over 2,500 superchargers, Agarwal stated, “This is part of our commitment to the market; we will develop the charging infrastructure in this country according to market demands and our customers’ lifestyles.”
He stated that the company will link major cities such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bangalore, and Chennai with its supercharger and charging network, establishing supercharger infrastructure along these important highways.
He mentioned that the company aimed to establish destination charging infrastructure in these cities, as they are home to its customers, and this will help build and grow the charging ecosystem for them. “And it’s not only about public charging (infrastructure). It is also crucial for the company to establish charging infrastructure for customers’ homes.
He stated that the company has already set up its home charging infrastructure in 28 states and has developed the ability to initiate and facilitate home charging in any state or city across the country since beginning operations several months ago.
