On Day 3 (March 21) of Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI 2026, Bollywood stars dominated the catwalk as showstoppers for some of the biggest designers in the country, transforming Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre into a star-studded fashion hotspot.
The day featured an eye-catching blend of sculptural couture, luxurious Indian fabrics, and high-shine metallics, fusing high fashion with star appeal. A strong celebrity presence put the focus firmly on glamor while designers experimented with structured forms, flowing draperies, and dramatic embellishments in collections that leaned significantly toward occasion wear.

Disha Patani, who served as Amit Aggarwal’s muse, attracted attention with an eye-catching lehenga adorned with layered polki jewelry, a protruding-structured dupatta, and a mermaid skirt. The ensemble, which was part of Indriya’s Orizon collection, highlighted Aggarwal’s distinctive sculptural style by fusing futuristic design language with metallic materials.
Tamannaah Bhatia’s vibrant glam
Tamannah was dressed in a sleeveless, sculpted top with a plunging halter neckline.
In the “Afterglow” collection, Tamannaah, who walked for Bhumika Sharma, embraced vivid hues and fine craftsmanship. Her brocade outfit gave the runway a royal feel with its intricate Noorah designs and heritage-inspired details.
The emerald-green diamonds were well complemented by her crimson attire. She brought a powerful Bollywood vibe to the performance alongside Shanaya Kapoor, both of whom wore eye-catching designs that went viral on social media.

Diana Penty walked with flowing lines highlighted with metallic tones, maintaining a timeless and carefree look. In the midst of the high-glam excitement of the evening, her ensemble created a more subtle yet powerful moment by fusing traditional weaves with clean, modern lines.
More star power on the runway
On the 3rd day, Khushi Kapoor walked for Aisha Rao in intricately embroidered lehengas, showcasing her trademark grace on the ramp. Shanaya Kapoor added even more glitz with colorful, eye-catching outfits.
Among the designers, Ritika Mirchandani showed her “Confluence” prints with striking patterns, Deepit Chugh investigated urban geometry through structured forms, and Jajaabor leaned toward fluid silhouettes and textured layering—combining metallics, traditional weaves, and modern cuts that defined the evening’s fashion narrative.
