Mumbai: JioStar Network has launched a unique programming effort for its Hindi cinema channels in honor of International Women’s Day. The promotion will include 50 films with strong female protagonists. The carefully chosen exhibit will celebrate the power, resiliency, and influence of women in film by showcasing stories lead by them across genres and generations.
The World Television Premiere of Maa, starring Kajol, will be the main event of the special programming. It will air on Star Gold on March 7 at 8 PM. In addition, the movie will be televised again on March 8 at 12 PM in honor of International Women’s Day.
