Early Ambitions and Academic Pursuits
Neeraj’s journey is truly inspiring. He embarked on his career path as a Sales Supervisor in 1998, setting the stage for his future endeavours in marketing and relationship building with government companies.
His academic pursuit played a major role in shaping his career, with a Master’s degree from IMI Belgium and IPM (2000–2002), giving him a solid foundation in entrepreneurship and business strategy. Currently, Neeraj is pursuing his Doctorate from Golden Gate University, further fuelling his passion for growth and innovation.

In 2025, Neeraj stepped into his newest leadership role as Chief Revenue Officer at FuelBuddy. The role represents not just a career milestone but a continuation of the values he has carried throughout his journey.
With more than 20 years of experience, he has played a pivotal role in building FuelBuddy’s strong foundation for Growth story of India.
Currently, Neeraj is spearheading FuelBuddy’s CNG distribution business in Nigeria, further solidifying the company’s position as a pioneer in the energy sector. He successfully established FuelBuddy’s doorstep diesel delivery model in India. He further aims to set a success story in the gas distribution business in Nigeria and plans to replicate this model in other African countries.
Climbing Through Corporate Leadership
Neeraj’s ascent to the role of CRO at FuelBuddy is a testament to his dynamic leadership and vision. Before he reached this leadership role, he built a powerful corporate career defined by scale, precision, and vision. His journey includes notable stints at ICICI, Barclays Bank, Hover Automotive India and Ford Motor Company, where he demonstrated remarkable prowess in driving growth and development.
As Area Sales Manager at ICICI, Neeraj laid the foundation for his future leadership roles. He subsequently joined Barclays Bank, managing secured and unsecured retail finance business in Delhi-NCR. His tenure at Hover Automotive India saw him leading sales, marketing, dealer development, and business development for the Nissan car business across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Goa. At Ford Motor Company, Neeraj successfully managed the pre-owned car business of Ford India, overseeing operations across 200+ dealer outlets and fostering leadership capabilities within the organisation. There, he built career tracks and strengthened leadership capabilities across the business realm.
