1. Visit the Official UIDAI Website
- Go to the official UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in.
2. Select ‘Update Aadhaar’
- On the homepage, navigate to the “Update Aadhaar” section.
- Click on ‘Update Your Aadhaar’ to proceed with the update process.
3. Choose ‘Update Mobile Number’
- Select the “Update Mobile Number” option from the list of services.
- You will be redirected to a page for mobile number updates.
4. Login Using Aadhaar Details
- You will need to enter your Aadhaar number (12-digit number) and the security code (captcha).
- Click ‘Send OTP’ to receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered mobile number.
5. Enter OTP and Login
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
- After logging in successfully, click on “Submit” to access the update page.
6. Update Your Mobile Number
- On the update page, you will find an option to update your mobile number. Enter your new mobile number.
7. Confirm the Details
- Verify the details you have entered carefully, including the new mobile number.
- After confirming, click on ‘Submit’ to proceed.
8. Acknowledge Update Request
- Once the mobile number update request is successfully submitted, you will receive a URN (Update Request Number).
- You can use this URN to track the status of your request.
9. Visit an Aadhaar Enrollment Center (Optional)
- If you are unable to update the mobile number online, you can visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center.
- Take your Aadhaar card and supporting documents for verification and provide your new mobile number.
10. Receive Confirmation
- Once your request is processed, you will receive a confirmation, and your new mobile number will be updated in the Aadhaar database.
