According to BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia, “We will follow whatever are the ICC guidelines,” Cricbuzz said. When it was brought up that Pakistan is featured beneath the official ICC emblem, Saikia restated, “We will follow the ICC directive.”
Saikia’s claim calms the controversy surrounding India’s objection to the official emblem because the squad won’t be visiting Pakistan. According to the Cricbuzz report, Pakistan is the official host of the Champions Trophy, which will take place from February 19 to March 9.
Following the Indian government’s refusal to permit the national team to go to Pakistan, the PCB agreed to host the event on a hybrid model, meaning that India will play their matches in Dubai.
