India commemorates National Science Day 2025 today, celebrating the groundbreaking discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman on February 28, 1928. This annual observance highlights the importance of scientific research and innovation in shaping the nation’s future. In his Science Day speech, Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, renowned scientist and Padma Vibhushan awardee, emphasized, “Science is the backbone of progress. As we celebrate this day, let us remember that curiosity and innovation are the driving forces behind a better tomorrow. “Quoting C.V.
